Honeywell WEBs N4.8 is Now Released!
Honeywell announced the general availability of WEBs N4.8 late last week. This release incorporates important new features and functionality to support WEBs users as they:
Distribute more control and management talks to intelligent Edge devices
Deploy Niagara-native and 3rd-party drivers and WEBs N4 Analytics tools to gain more insight from operational data
Multiply the number of IP-connected devices and collect and analyze operational data at a finer granularity, in greater volumes and across longer periods
Work with IT departments toward multi-layered Cyberdefense
We encourage you to upgrade soon to take advantage of all that is built into WEBs N4.8 as detailed below. Included in this launch package are also details about the latest release of WEBs N4.8 Enterprise Security and a new BACnet certification -- just a few of the additional ways that Honeywell is advancing to keep pace with your needs.

Get familiar with breaking changes
New license features were added for ACE, 802.1X and for the Security Dashboard. When deploying WEBs N4.8, we recommend refreshing your license to pick up the new features add to the WEBs Supervisor, WEB-8000 and CIPer Model 10

Announcing WEBs N4 Enterprise Security
WEBs N4.8 Enterprise Security provides support for our legacy security customers. This release introduces station migrators for WEBs AX Security Supervisors and AX Jaces to N4 Enterprise Security.
Security WEB-6xx running WEBs Enterprise Security version AX-2.3u2 (AX-3.8u4) connection to the WEBs Enterprise Security Supervisory version N4.8 is also supported with this release.
Version upgrades are available with purchase of a software maintenance agreement, or an active software maintenance agreement.
Security WEB-6xx models are now scheduled for End of Life (EOL) July 1, 2021
This is consistent with WEBs AX EOL date for all Honeywell WEBs AX Honeywell products.
The following resources for WEBs Enterprise Security N4.8 is now available
Honeywell MAXPRO Driver
The Honeywell MAXPRO video driver is now supported by the WEBs N4.8 Platform. Whether you use video surveillance to enhance security or to monitor conditions in and around your facility, video integration with Niagara provides a unified user interface. Get more information here.
One More Thing: New AWS Certification
In the category of BACnet certifications, there is now a single Niagara Framework version - 4.4.u3 (NC.4.94.12.3) -- that is certified as both B-BC and B-AWS. See the listing here. As we've previously reported, version N4.7u1 has its B-BC (and AS-B) certification. Tridium is currently in the process of applying for B-AWS certification for this version. We are also working to list N4.7u1 running on CIPer Model 10 as a certified package.
